, regardless of their background. My biggest concern is that we only use the Thanksgiving holiday to be thankful for everything in our lives, when we should be doing it year-round. Regardless, this seems like a great opportunity for me to express my thanks and gratitude for some of the biggest elements of my life.
1. Friends and family. Where would we be without those that are there for us at all times? Having a great support group is what helps get you through the difficult times, and even the best of times as well. There really is no substitute for the most important people in your life.
2. Colleagues and co-workers. It would be easy to take credit for something because your face is linked to it, but the truth is, without those working around me, I wouldn't have the opportunities I do on a professional level. Greg Smith and Evan Weborg do an outstanding job to help make our sportscast what it is on a daily basis. But the list of people doesn't stop at those of us on TV. We have a great cast working behind the scenes to help us achieve that Newscast of the Year award handed out by the Montana Broadcaster's Association. So a special thanks needs to go out to people like Matt K., Ryan (Ryles), Stephen, Carson, Anton, Beth, Sara, Larry, Jacob, James, Matt C., Steve J., Steve D., Scott, Dave, Ross, and Sean. Deserving even more credit are the incredible engineers who keep this place running, Dan, Matt and Marlowe. I truly believe it's those people that keep this station running, so I am extremely thankful for their hard work.
